The University of Oregon’s Undergraduate Research Symposium is honored to invite high school students, teachers and classrooms, from local and beyond locations, to join our In Person event featuring college students as they share their college experiences through specialized campus tours, lab demonstrations, and poster presentations. 

This year Pre-College Day is on May 26, 2022. Event is hosted by the University of Oregon's Undergraduate Research Symposium, the Summer Academy to Inspire Learning (SAIL) program, and Orientation programs. For More Information Contact SAIL Program:  sailstaff@uoregon.edu

PRE-COLLEGE DAY SCHEDULE

TIME events
9:30–9:50 a.m.

Kick-Off: Erb Memorial Union 214 Redwood Auditorium

College students share varied academic areas and how they are involved in research.

10:00am–noon

Campus Tour led by college student showcasing Vizlab, Maker Space, faculty labs, classrooms, Erb Memorial Union, residential halls, and more. 

Explore the Undergraduate Research Symposium event featuring college student research and majors spanning every topic you can imagine, art installations, science demonstrations, film screenings, poetry, and spoken word, music, dance, and theater performances. 

12:00pm School groups may depart, or find a place to enjoy lunch on their own while visiting the university of Oregon’s beautiful campus.
