Pre-College Collaborations

Welcome to the 2021 Undergraduate Research Symposium

The university of Oregon’s Undergraduate Research Symposium is honored to invite high school students, teachers and classrooms, from local and beyond locations, to join a full day of activities facilitated by college student researchers.

In partnership with the Summer Academy to Inspire Learning (SAIL), Pre-College Collaborative team, and the Office of Admissions, the Symposium invites high school students to engage with undergraduate student researchers through live oral and poster presentations, live college student panels, lab demonstrations, student presentations, and asynchronous viewing of prerecorded oral, poster, and creative work presentation sessions.

High school students may register here for Wednesday, May 26 day events. College students will answer questions about college, research, and the many student life activities at the university.

Our staff have developed an interactive booklet (coming soon) for high school classroom curriculum activities exploring undergraduate research opportunities, pre-college planning materials, and current summer opportunities for high school students.
