Presenters may exhibit art and creative works of all media (e.g., film screenings, sculpture installations, painting displays) as well as conduct live performances of all genres (e.g., music, theater, spoken work, dance). Generally, art exhibits and creative works will be presented during the poster presentation time slot, but other times are also possible depending on the creative work presentation format and needs.
In addition to a presentation title and abstract, creative work presenters will detail their space and technology needs in their project proposals.
Creative work installation guidelines
- Creative work presenters will receive confirmation of their designated time and space to exhibit and/or perform three to four weeks prior to the symposium.
- Symposium organizers will host creative work presenters for a walkthrough/rehearsal prior to the symposium and confirm all special accommodations.
- Unless it is necessary to install the exhibit or creative work the day before the Symposium, all presenters will be given a time range the day of the event to install their art or creative works.
